Liquid Calories - September 14th, 2009

Some girls who are on a diet love checking the amount of the calories they ate for the day. But the common mistake they make is that they forget to include the calories from the drinks. Did you know that one drink can have hidden calories that can compensate for your one meal? In research they did, people misunderstand that they had less calories than they really did and this is because of the calories from the drinks. After having dinner, they can reject the deserts and ice creams but they still drink a cup of wine and frappuccino. So how much do average people drink a day and how many calories are they taking from the drinks?

Everyone is a little different but in a research, it says that a normal person drinks about six cups of soda or soft drinks a day. Even though they didn’t eat anything throughout the day, they still had three quarters of the calories they needed for the day which is about 1,400kcal. If you are hungry and want to drink instead of eating meals, you should think about which is more nutritious. So when you think about it, you can easily reduce your calorie intake by just reducing the amount of soda you drink a day.
