Lazy Weight Loss

lazy weight lossLet’s face it: the best way to lose weight is to diet and exercise. But what if you’re like the rest of the nation: a little lazy and just can’t find the motivation to do either? Well, then these tips are for you!

The Only “Don’t”s

First, don’t eat out! Eating out is the fastest way to take in way more calories than you need. Fast food joints and even classy restaurants fill their food with unnecessary fillers, preservatives, and calorie packed sauces. So save yourself the trip because hitting the fast food joint is not only unhealthy, but expensive compared to buying food from the store.

And speaking of buying food from the store: don’t buy junk food! Instead of Oreos®, get a bag of apples. Buy the low fat versions of your favorite foods. If you need TV dinners for a quick—and lazy—meal, get the healthy kinds.

Let Other People Exercise For You

Don’t tell people you’re trying to lose weight. Instead, mooch off of people by getting together with them for activities that burn calories. Just being social is a marvelous way to burn calories.

And hang around positive people. A negative environment will put stress on your body, which in turn will promote fat gain. And if your friends don’t motivate you, hire a trainer to do it for you!

Diet Pills

Don’t laugh, there are actually weight loss supplements that work. Look for a diet pill that is a metabolism booster (thermogenic) so the pill will do the fat burning for you.

Another type of weight loss pill that works is the “fat binder” variety. These substances will bind to fat in the digestive system. Both kinds of these pills can be effective at helping you lose weight with little change in your dieting and exercise.

Water

Drink tons of water. You should be doing this whether or not you are lazy or trying to lose weight. Water is essential for every bodily process, and thus helps the body flush out impurities.

By drinking water instead of soda, you will cut thousands of calories out of your diet and save hundreds of dollars in your wallet. Water will also take up space in your stomach, so drink it before your meals and instead of a snack.

You’re Already Losing Weight

Things you do every day burn calories. It’s up to you to find the fun ones that burn more than others. Obviously, avidly following your favorite TV show isn’t going to help you to slim down.

Take more time for activities that you enjoy: hobbies like woodworking, shopping or dancing burn a lot more calories than you would suppose! Enjoy life, and you might end up shedding a few pounds in the process!
