Do Slimfast Shakes Work - October 1st, 2009

Slimfast shakes have long been used in weight loss endeavors.  They were introduced in some ways by Oprah in the early 90’s, because we literally got to see how tiny her bone structure actually was and how she wasn’t “meant to be a big girl” as her father apparently told her.  So after that, everybody wanted to use Slimfast shakes.  But do Slimfast shakes work?

Well obviously, Oprah gained back all the weight.  She got depressed, and for the most part she stopped using the shakes.  If you use a liquid diet, you are ultimately almost always going to lose weight.  The problem is that you can’t sustain that weight loss, which obviously presents a problem.  Unless you have no teeth, chances are you are going to want to eat solid foods again.

So this being said, do Slimfast shakes work?  Yes, they do.  The problem is not achieving weight loss with Slimfast shakes.  The problem is sticking to the plan and being able to ultimately keep the weight off.  That is one hurdle that most people can’t actually end up pulling off in the long run.  And that’s an extremely important thing considering the fact that the whole goal is to be skinnier and more importantly STAY SKINNIER!
